On Friday, June 29, a team of seven employees braved the warm weather to volunteer at Boothe Memorial Park.
They partnered with the Boothe Memorial Railway Society to work on their Garden Railway Project, which once completed, will help draw visitors to the museum and further promote an interest in model trains and railroad history.
Our employees spent the morning digging trenches and laying gravel to serve as the foundation for the model train tracks that are set to be installed.
Here’s a look at the team in action.
Anyone interested in visiting the Railway Museum at Boothe Memorial Park, can stop by the third Saturday of every month between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
