Gobble & Give 2024 | Making a Difference in Our Community

On November 20th and 21st, MSCU hosted the Gobble & Give Fundraiser, a two-day event filled with generosity, community spirit, and holiday cheer. In collaboration with Smile Dental Center, the event raised vital support for Spooner House and the Valley Food Bank Network, reinforcing MSCU's commitment to serving the community.

The event started with a Silent Auction at our Shelton branch, where attendees gathered for an evening of food, music, and charitable giving.

Guests enjoyed gourmet bites provided by Focaccia Café & Catery, paired with a selection of spirits. A local jazz trio created the perfect ambiance, keeping the evening lively and festive. Dozens of items, including dining experiences, NY Jets tickets, and gift baskets, sparked friendly bidding wars. Raffle prizes added an extra layer of excitement, with winners walking away with exclusive prizes.

The giving continued on November 21st when the MSCU team and Smile Dental Center hosted a Canned Food and Turkey Drive at our Shelton location.

From 10 AM to 2 PM, dozens of vehicles pulled up to drop off donations. The MSCU team, alongside our special guests—Chaz from 99.1 PLR broadcasting live and a volunteer dressed as a turkey—greeted donors and collected many turkeys and canned goods.

Thanks to the generosity of our members, partners, and neighbors, the Gobble & Give event was a resounding success.

These efforts will help support families in need during this holiday season.
