Meet Jacklyn Putetti, Manager, Mortgage Services.
Q: How long have you been a part of the MSCU Family?
A: I started at Mutual Security as a Member Service Representative (MSR) at the Watertown branch 13 years ago! Since then I have continued to grow within the MSCU community and I now have the title of Manager, Mortgage Services Lending.
Q: What is your most rewarding story when you know you really helped a member?
A: A rewarding story that came to mind is when I was working with a member a few years back on qualifying for a mortgage. The member was so overwhelmed with joy that she cried on the phone when I told her the mortgage was approved. She had never thought it would be possible for her to own a home! It was great to know how much what we do can drastically change someone’s life for the better.
Q: What is a typical day like in your role?
A: I am typically on the phone working with current and potential members on getting them pre-qualified for a mortgage and discussing what the process of home-buying entails with first time homebuyers. I also spend time reviewing reports, attending meetings, and approving mortgages. It’s a fast pace environment but a lot of fun!
Q: What are some tips that you want people to be aware of when joining a credit union?
A: We strive to make a positive impact in our members’ way of life. We care about you and your community!
Q: What is one of the most important things you have learned at MSCU?
A: Being a team player is one of the most valuable things I have learned at MSCU. Alone we all have our strengths but together with all the other moving parts is when we can all accomplish our goals and make a big difference for each other and our members!
