May is Mental Health Awareness Month. At MSCU, we take mental health in the workplace very seriously. We believe in achieving a work-life balance and strive to create a safe working environment for our employees.
The ideal workplace provides a safe environment where employees can do their jobs without fear or intimidation. Unfortunately, though, this is not always the case. Mental health issues are becoming more prevalent in the workplace, with employees experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, and burnout regularly. - Push for a supportive work environment. If you’re in management, create a supportive and inclusive workplace culture. Encourage open communication, provide resources for mental health support, and prioritize employee well-being. If you cannot make these things happen, speak to someone at your workplace who is.
